Will I hit 12's

Very curious.
I have a 350 bored 30 over, running Vortec heads, pistons are approximately 10:2:1 compression ratio with my heads, air gap intake, cam is a comp extreme energy with a lift of .487/.490 at 1600-5800 rpms, carb is a Holley 600.

Trany is a 350 turbo with a shift kit, 2200 or 2300 style conv., trans cooler, and mega shifter.

Rearend is a 342 with posi, tires are 245/50/16's

Thanks for any replies.

If its tuned right, you have traction and its driven well, you'll probably see mid 13's...You might wanna step up to a slightly larger carb though(650/700cfm) just my opinion though.

I've thought about a bigger carb. Not in a rush oh. Wanna know what it will do with what I have. Going to the track when it opens. 13's are not bad oh. Thanks for ur opinion.

you can get more with them vortec heads. Here's what i'm going to run should be in the 12's

350 Vortec Build Up

HEAD WORK

Cut the guide OD to .530", so you can use the Teflon valve guide seals. You should also get the stock pull-out studs pulled out, and the holes milled & drilled & tapped for screw-in studs; and use good quality studs, and guide plates. That way you don't have to use self-aligning rockers. Your choices are much more varied.

Push Rod whole’s have to opened up to .500” or ½” to suffice for the 1.6 Rockers

Carb

750

Crank

Scat 9000 Crank Crankshaft 350 Chevy Chevrolet sbc=200$

Cam

XR282

Rockers

Comp 1302 1.6 roller rockers

Valves

Manley "Street Flow" valves, with undercut heads

Just some research i have right now on everything. Haven't started the build up yet but some of that should help you out. I'm still learning. Just showen what others told me
