Anyone a local or run at Cecil?

 

not a local, but i've run there many times.

 

I’m only about an hour or so away, in laurel. I usually run down at Capitol but keep intending to head up to Cecil one of these days

 

Cecil regular here!
First Saturday of every month for the shootouts, and most everything in between. I don't run brackets on Sundays tho.
Look for the black firebird with the s/c motor, can't miss it!

Cecil is a very nice, fast track. love the downhill staging lanes... you dont have to start your car up everytime the lines move and it keeps the motor cool

ive been going there for the last 6 or 7 years running my old white 89' Vette. i sold it last year though... look for me shortly in either my hotair GN or my white 84' Z28

 

Hey BlownBird, you must live close to Blackbird Raceway, it's a dirt track for micro sprint cars. I used to race there too back when is was younger and my dad and I were in it.

Yes I do! I can hear them run on a nice Saturday night when the house is opened up. I live about a half mile from there.

Hell yeah thats cool! You should post when you go down to run at the track. Hopefully I'll be able to see ya down there once I get done up here at Penn State and finish up on some things on the Z.
