ok, about a month ago i was talking about this kid who got a 96' Cobra. it had a couple of mods and he was proclaiming it could destroy either my Vette or my friends stock 2000 Z28 6speed. i challenged him to a race numerous times, but he never answered me. so i found out yesterday that he just had a Xpipe installed and was going to Cecil County dragway today! naturally, im going to go also so he cant lie about his times. he really sucks at driving stick, and hes not shifting at the right rpms to make the best times out of it, so i think this should be an easy win for me. hopefully he goes, and this isnt another one of his bullsh*t attempts at being cool. if he goes and we race, ill post it later.

 

Heh if ur running 13.44s expect to woop his Ford ****. I havent seen anything but a highly modded Cobra 96-98 run low 13s. Thats with suspension and stuff. U dont need any luck, but good luck.

hahaha!!! got him! well because of the humidity, i wasnt running 13.4s, but i managed two 13.6s and a 13.7 with bad launches (2.05 60fts). he arrived late, and while we never did actually line up, we did compare some timeslips. his first run was a 14.6 next up he started to get the hang of it and ran a 14.2. his mph was in the 100-101 mph range. best part is, my friend got some pics of his (and me and Tuned Port lining up) runs and his times lit up on the scoreboard. so if i hear any BS from him or his friends about what he ran, i have proof. ill try to post the pics when i get them developed and scanned.
