Time troubles, how much will it take?

This is a question for those who use the blue bottle insurance company. There is a guy with a '66 stang that has been mouthing me about racing his car since last year. Well, finally found out he went 10.70's on slicks this past weekend. I would really like to run with that, but here's my prob. I really don't want to use nitrous, but, I know he is. I am shooting for high 11's on the motor when my car is revived. How much nitrous would it take for me to catch him if I'm in the 11's on motor? I've raced for about 5 yrs, but never used nitrous before. Think 150 shot would do it, or would I need more? I realize winning isn't everything, and my car isn't made to JUST go straight, just curious what it would take to run with him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if u get your car to runs high 11`s ,then mid to high 10`s would be possible with only a 150 shot. Why not just build an NA motor to run those times.

Because I already have a motor built, the car is just getting some revisions at the moment.(tranny, injectors, chip, stall, new exhaust, etc.) Besides, like I said, beating this guy isn't the most important thing to me, I just wanted to know what it would take to run with him. If all I wanted was to beat him, I would have built a different motor, and it probably wouldn't be fuel injected. I was thinkin maybe a 2-stage setup. Hit it off the line with about a 75 shot, then step up to the full 150 after about 3 seconds or so. Thanks for the reply, any more input is welcome.
