Sorry for any of my ignorance, I am very new to cars having just got my license a month ago. So I've had this car for about 3 weeks and its started having troubles last week (needed jumped a few times) and now it won't even stay running. It will turn over and and idle for 2 seconds then dies. What's weird is that if I keep my foot on the pedal, it will give gas for just a sec them stop, but if I stomp it, let off it, then stomp it again, and keep repeating that I can keep the engine running. I've already checked for Sparks and I have also replaced my fuel filter. It's the Daytona version, btw.
