Combination finally coming together, opinons/suggestions?
Ok I have been out of the game for a while, I am back on my feet and things are finally coming together. All the machine work is done, the shortblock is together, just waiting on good weather to put it together:
377 (4.00 x 3.75) Probe forged pistons, scat forged rods, Eagle ESP cast crank
Dart R Series 220cc heads, 2.08/1.600 valves, ported to flow 291@.600, ???@.700 (need to be reflowed after some more work)
Billet Roller Camshaft (262/266@.050, .665/.625 before last, 106LSA)
Dominator 1050 carb
Bowtie Single Plane Dominator Flange Intake
Hooker Drag 1 7/8" headers, dual 3" exhaust
Tubular K member, tubular a-arms
Electric Water Pump, MSD 6AL, Pro Billet Distrib and a few other goodies
MT ET Drag Radials (275/50/15), 4000 stall
Car weighed 3100 pounds before aluminum heads and tubular k member/a arms without driver, and ran 12.28 @ 111.85 from a vortec headed 350.
I know I will probably get some crap about the dominator. A friend of mine ran a 1000 cfm Race Demon and this 1050 Dominator on back to back passes with tuning and corrections for jetting on both carbs, and the Dominator went 3 tenths and 3 mph faster on a low 11 second Nova than the Demon. I am curious to see what I can do with it, as they really arent a great street carb. I picked Dominator and intake up for $170 and my old 750 Race demon, so I still got a good deal.
What would you guys like to see out of this setup? Any suggestions? This is street driven strip car- it is driven to the strip to be raced and driven home. Occassionally cruised, not worried about streetability though

I think it will run in the 10s on motor maby low 11 if your high in the alttude. I would use a 275/60/15 M/T drag radial and a 4.10 gear. Keep us posted sounds like a good combo.

I just scored an NOS sniper kit off ebay with a dominator plate for $150, going to stick that on top with a 125 shot.
To be honest, I really need to chase down a friend of mine
. He is running 11.1's at 122, I would love to run with him on motor and smoke him on juice
