That's actually pretty good for that engine, if its the most common one. It has 76cc smog heads and only 8.1:1 or 8.5:1 compression ratio.
If those slicks are taller than the stock 26" tires, they might slow you down. Taller tires make your rear end act like its numerically lower.
The intake manifold is a good idea, those are usually good for 10-15 horsepower. But you might need an adapter to make it work with the Qjet.

I havent heard of any 54cc heads. I know of the 58cc Corvette heads, Camaro 350 heads are 64cc's, and most aftermarket heads are 64 to 72 cc's.
With 58cc's, your compression goes up to 10.5:1 with a 0.050" head gasket. With 64cc's its 9.75:1 and with 68cc's its 9.35:1.

If I were you, I dont think I would get off of that Yamaha long enough to worry how slow my f-body is.
When my 89 350 tpi L98 Auto w/2.77 Camaro, was bone stock w/K&N filters, it ran 15.2 @ 92 according to a g-tech meter. So your numbers arent to bad.
Anything you can do to make it breath better will help. First make sure its tuned up properly then do mods. In CA, you will have a harder time, making power, with emission regulations.
Headers will uncork any engine and let it breath better.
Good Luck.
