I plan on a 427ci sbc to put in it with a built th350 and a high stall. It looks like its very light and would be a quick car with a good motor. Is the price good for something like that? Taking suggestions on a motor right now too, I have a 400sbc block to work with.

looks like an alright deal with the fiberglass doors and the paint looks alright. 12 bolt rears aren't cheap and I guess it's tubbed, just have someone who races check it out, I didn't see any mention of a cage or roll bar in his ad though.

Re: What do you guys think of this?
I believe it says it has a roll cage in it, possible 10pt?. I think it looks like a good deal as well. If the work was done by a skilled mechanic or at least done correctly then its worth it in parts alone. You would spend probably close to 7 or 8 grand setting up a thirdgen with a 12 bolt, 4 link, tubbed, and roll cage, ect. Sounds like it has a decent fuel system along with a good cooling system as well. The fact that it has fiberglass doors makes me think that it was set up by someone that knew what they were doing and was a purpose built car for single digit runs. Paint also looks very decent as well. But please get some new wheels and tires asap
. Looks like a good score to me.

It was a purpose built drag car. Not sure on a time yet but it was seen at the strip everyweek for about a year or so. It has a 5pt cage....for now.
----------
5pt harness not cage. I think it has a 10pt, I'll look tonight!

Re: What do you guys think of this?
why do these guys go through the trouble of tubbing the car but still running a stock ride height and not tucking the tires?
could be a good deal if everything was done alright. lotsa money in parts. but, like i said, i would get the rear tires tucked up in the car. (not sure if the ladder bars will be ok with the lowered ride height, however. might have to set them up again.)
