The Norwegian guys almost pulled it off, winning the SSCC. Due to issues with front shocks they had to slow considerably as they did the stages, but they proved this car has alot more in it!

Actually it's a 1408 hp twin turbo 540, streetlegal Norwegian car. Does low 9's on the dragstrip too, seen it myself. Did a 244.94 MPH testrun on the mercedes testcourse in Papenburg, Germany with it this summer, in the wet. These guys arent done just yet, it's to be continued.

Yes, the enggine has been run with everything from 700hp and up in various configurations with the 540 donovan.

Actually the most insane with this car, is after a race, they simply bolt on some threaded rear tires, and drive it home! All 310 miles of it the last time I saw them. This is no trailer queen. But given it's trans is setup so the theoretical top speed is 260 mph, they'll be home before dinner
