post your best 1/8 times

ran my car on sundy for the first time since it was finished, took about 4 years, on sunday, got 4 passes in and ran a best of 7.19 @ 95.29 with 60' of 1.568. leaving at 2,000 and shifting by feel, tach wasnt hooked up and didnt give it all she had. didnt want to break anything on the first day out and still getting use to the car. these numbers were with my chevelle, the camaro will go to the 1/4 this weekend since that car is now almost finished!

6.137 @ 114.62 mph

I'd love to get that into the 5's but that would mean getting a low 9 second 1/4 mile pass and I'm not going to be doing that at altitude.

Re: post your best 1/8 times

best time with old 360 was a 7.71, best time with old 305 combo was a 7.79. best time with current 305 combo (basically my "backup/spare motor" till i get the new 350 built) is an 8.11, but i put more gear in it and plan to get back into the 7 second range this weekend.

Re: post your best 1/8 times

there is def a lot more left in her, i am shooting for mid 6's and 6.0 on the spray, my only concern is it was pulling to the left at the top of the track, no bad steering componets, any thought, remember this is the first time i ran the car, maybe just have to get use to the car?
