Yes, I still drive the car on the street some. It actually has pretty good street manners for what it is. It never gets hot,has a resonable idle and isn't overly loud. It will even get 8-10 mpg if I keep my foot out of it. The only changes I make are to remove the parachute and wheelie bars when I drive it on the street. Here's a pic from that pass.

That car is running good. How much are you spraying it with?

300. I have 150 come on .1 after the release of the trans brake and another 150 1.2 out. I'm still on the pretty safe side as far as fuel and timing go and figure there's some e.t. left in it yet. I can't legally go quicker than 8.50 anyway though. I need to pick up some for when the weather gets bad so I can still run the number. Atleast a nitrous car dosen't slow up as much as an N/A car in the heat. I can also turn the second stage on alot sooner which will pick things up.

Then it sounds like you have it where you need it for this season. My car is only good for 8.50s also not that I will even be in the 8s. Are you allowed to run the wheelie bars in drag radial classes?

No wheelie bars for most of the local radial classes. Right now I'm running an 8.50 index class where they are legal. I'm going to a track rental next weekend and hope to tune the car to not need them anymore.

No. This motor started life as a pump gas motor years ago. It went 9.20's in that configuration.

Do you have any pics of it? I want to switch over to 3.5 finding it hard to find bends or elbows.

No good pics. If the weather clears up I'll drive it to work one day soon and take some pics on the lift.

In the older pics the car was usually in the 1.27-1.28 range. I actually went a 1.24 yesterday at a track rental. Thanks!
