Leak

I am having a problem with my headers leaking at the gasket ( gasket that bolts to head) and I was wondering what gaskets you guys are running? I have a set of Hooker long tubes part #2210. Thanks for the advice.

Re: Leak

spray the felpro gaskets with copper spray then use stage 8 locking header bolts for leak free seals if the header flange isn't warped itself and causing the leak.

Re: Leak

My Hedman's leaked from day one.
Took them off when changing motor and checked them with a straight edge.
2 of the 4 tubes were cut at a slight angle on both headers where they meet the motor.I evened them out with a grinder ,but have yet to fire it up and check them .

Re: Leak

Also, make sure that you have the header gaskets for the heads and not the ones that came with the headers. If you have D-port heads, get the D-port header gaskets.
