i have a 1987 gta it has a 60 over 350 with ik200 heads, victor jr intake 750 demon, 12.3.1 com, small hyd cam .515 lift 246@ duration, th350 with 3500 converter 3.27 gears and weights about 3500 with me in it never got a full pass out of it have broke 2 trannies saving money for a good one so whats it gonna take to get in the mid-low 12 with out the bottle thanks for help

 

Theres no reason that combo shouldn't go into the high elevens. It's a little heavy but my buddies weighs 3750 and has less parts. He has been 11.70's @ 117. What trans are you trying to use that you keep having problems?


Actually his is 383 with more gear. Low 12's shouldn't be difficult with maybe 3.73 or higher and clean tune

 

its a th 350 local build i was thinking about a moser 12 bolt with 4.30 gears
