Who races with a stick???
Just wondering on what kind of hydraulic clutch setups you guys have and if it's worth the upgrade or who runs oem. I went through 2 centerforce df's this year and the hydraulics may be to blame. Clutch was setup, flywheel machined and broke in correctly. Car has prolly 450 hp and runs a 12.5 @113mph.
Is it worth all that money for mcleod hydraulics or should I just get the GM stuff?????
Could an air bubble have caused that spongee feeling that burned out my clutch on that last pass down the strip??

I only run stick i just prefer it. But i use the factory setup. As for your spongee pedal most likly an air bubble or your clutch master cly. is going out

I run stock hyd. setup. I only run a stick in my cars. You need to see if you can bleed the hell out of the system.

Re: Who races with a stick???
i run all stock hydraulics with my car and have never had a problem, i did have a problem with a centerforce dual friction clutch when i first put the t-56 in my car, after that i used a AC Delco clutch kit and have yet to have a problem with it. another thing to consider if if your flywheel has been machined a couple of times, you might have to shim the flywheel back out since theres no adjustment for pedal height.
