Finally uploaded a launch pic of my junk
This was from the ORTC race back a couple months. Running in O/L 632 trim, although a considerably smaller engine than allowed.

Major thanks to the track photographer for this shot; I was happy to buy it.
1.22 60ft with the rear tires
The photo was taken just over half way up. I had the bars set up to "oh sh*" height and it walked out pretty good.

Re: Finally uploaded a launch pic of my junk
Thanks.
Changing the cam, changing the n2o system, and some other small odds-n-ends right now and doing some testing next weekend. - It's already been 5.36 with the cheater noids maxed out(300ish) off a 1.16 60ft. I probably won't lean on this 2-bolt block or the BME "396" rods much more, but I have a 4-bolt block that I could drop this set-up into, as well as some Lunati pro mod rods..............if I go that route it will likely recieve the tunnel ram w/ two dominators and a fogger.

i was actually thinking about a similar thing only in a small block package for a cavalier that needs to be ripped up and cut up....tunnel ram with a fogger and a couple 750's for a little 383

Re: Finally uploaded a launch pic of my junk
It's coming around. We got a 1.16 60ft out of it, then changed the cam and the plate system and it went to walking out to the top of 2nd on the bars, 1.20-1.23 60's on the rears. I took a little hit out of the suspension, but won't get to test for another couple weeks.
Not a 632 combo, just a 496ci GM low-deck with a single carb and plate kit. Best so far has been a mid 5 in the 1/8 @ 3000lbs, the tune-up is still a ways off with the new stuff. Looking to step up to a 530ci+ motor sometime this year, along with the t-ram and twin dominators + the fogger sitting on the shelf in my garage. Should be able to push solidily into the 4's with a few more inches and 2-stages. - Home grown TH400 trans, I wouldn't run a glide if it were given to me.
Nice shot of the launch from our lest TNT session, I have both the initial "hit" from the front and about 10-15' out from the rear. The rear shot really shows the tire marks and how much the wheelie bars are trying to unload the tires. I tamed the suspension down a little and am hoping for a low 1.1x 60ft, really want to be the first in this class to find a 1.0x.

I think the car looks pretty good staged up at ride height. Still needs a front gfx and new paint though. Black cherry w/ ghost flames will look awesome!

and one more, from the water box:

Re: Finally uploaded a launch pic of my junk
Time to go over 500ci, add the t-ram w/ twin dominators and the 2nd stage. Fogger, tunnel ram, dominators, and Dart 360's are on the bench and ready; need to scrape up a decent 540ish short block.
I think there's a 5.1x in the current combo once we get a handle on the tune. I'm probably going to cut the hood and build a lexan scoop in the next week or so; the carb is only around 1" from the hood and I'm sure that is hurting power. Was hoping to trade the 4" for a shorter cowl first, but looks like its going to get cut and left as is.

btw, i really like the checkerboard on the side of the car. i know you're talking about doing a nose swap, possibly to a TA nose or something of that nature...but please keep the checkerboard.

Re: Finally uploaded a launch pic of my junk
The nose is probably going to stay, just fabbing up a gfx for it. The few pounds I would save with a glass clip doesn't really offset the price tag for me. - The color scheme is definitely changing; I've yet to really like the pearl white/blue combo. Black cherry with ghosts flames is coming in time, not sure about the rest; the checkboard is actually just vynl.
I had a good time at DIH, although I was just doing tnt stuff. I'm sure there were some side bets on/against me when I pulled up a time or two though.
Well, Homemade Motorsports was at it again last weekend. I loved just having the cowl, but function over form if you want to go fast:

The carb was less than 2" from the hood, so we know it was a large part of my tune-up issues. Should be corrected now.

Re: Finally uploaded a launch pic of my junk
US Street Nationals next weekend, 29-31. We'll be there the 28-31. Going to test on the old faithful Rupert methanol dominator. I like the idea of only buying the 118NOS fuel for a small enrichment tank.
I'd love to go ahead and throw another gun on this combo, but I think I'd be asking for it with off the shelf BME "396" rods and a GM 2-bolt block.
I'm sure we'll find a "wall" soon though with less than 500ci and old 345ish heads. Probably in the 5.1-5.0 range.
