Just wondering if any of the LTx swap third gens on here were planning on making the trip to bowling green KY this year for the LTX Shootout?? If you are what classes are you planning on running in? Any prep work your doing to your car(s)? And lets see what your takin!!

Personally I really hope I can make it, only thing I really plan on doing in preparation for it is get a good dyno tune, hopefully this spring, and a nice set of MT ET streets. Here's a few pics of what I'm hopefully takin' to Kentucky this year.... (i'll throw some better pics on when i find my camera)

Ya the drive is a lot easier if you have a truck and trailer... What mods you have done on your motors?? And what classes would you be expecting to run in if you decided to go.

I got the truck: 2009 F250 super duty and I got the trailer, I am just not sure I want to make a 8 hour trip pulling them. If I do decide to go I will be forced to run the modified power adder class with my current nitrous and suspension set up.

If your car got the 1/4 mile times and can compete with the competition it should be a fun class to run in. I'm planning on running in the LTx mod. N/A and Extreme street classes, as long as I don't do anything to my car by then haha... but I'm savin up for a paint job so hopefully that keeps my attention away from getting a nitrous kit.

Forget bout the paint for now and go with the nitrous kit. Trust me if you are anything like me, addicted to propelling your body through space as fast as you can you will not look back.

looks like i fit the modified power adder class. i will need to weigh 3250 with my megasquirt. no limit on nitrous jetting!!
with a built motor and big shot i think i could go mid 8's!

haha thats awesome dude, if your talking about running mid 8's there should be some fast cars in that class.... I don't even know what kind of numbers I should be looking for out of my car this year when I start to test and tune it in order to be competitive in the classes I wanna run in ? Since I've never been to the shootout or anything I'm not sure what modified n/a LTx's run, or what the hell my car even runs hahaha, this will be the first year I will finally get some dyno numbers, and get it to the track and see how i did on my motor build.
