SSM part# 1316 ?

Does anyone have this kit? That is the kit with sfc's, crossmember, lift bars, driveshaft loop and all reinforcements.

How does it work? Quality pieces? Worth the money? Any info would be appreciated!

Thanks

I have that SSM kit. The subframe connectors fit great, I never got around to installing the driveshaft loop. One problem I have is that the crossmember is very low. It drops in the center to clear the driveshaft. I was considering cutting it back out of the car and inverting it so the notch sticks up (I'll have to notch the floorpans). I have bottomed the crossmember out on several occasions during normal driving. As for traction improvement- I can't tell you first hand. My car rolls on 17" tires that get no grip until 2nd gear & I haven't put slicks on yet... I'm putting in a 9" Ford rear first (another advantage of the kit is you no longer use the torque arm so if you change rearends you don't need one with the mount for it). I have heard of guys getting 1.5 60 ft times with this setup though.
