Dumb Question for you guys

Ok well ive only had my 91RS, 305tbi auto, for a few months, and havent had the chance to really experiment with takeoffs. Im wondering what the best way to take off with these cars is. Brake stand at what rpms? Or do camaros launch better by just mashing it down? Stupid question but oh well

I found in my 87 tpi auto that a luach at about 1750 rpm's was the best I could do with stock supention and bad tires. All you do is stand on the brake, put the pedal down to the given RPM, but not enough to spin your tires, on the green let off the brake and put the gas to the floor, and hold on. OK maybe not hold on in a 305 tbi but you get the picture. My times are in my sig. Just go out on a back road and experiment.
