rear control arm relocator brackets are good to do. some upgraded control arms, panhard bar, and torque arm will help the car get out better. i use the spohn stuff, it works great, if you don't want to spend that kind of cash you can just find someone who welds and have them box the factory units for pretty cheap. even if you don't want 90/10's in the front you may want to put 50/50's in the rear. they will better control the movement of the car during launch.

First thing you should do is get some weld-in subframe connectors. That alone is a big improvement. After that, work on suspension. My race car still has stock springs and struts/shocks and ran well. If I had 90/10 front struts I probably could have picked up a few more tenths.

Change every rear suspension component. Stock factory parts are too flimsy and flexable. Anything in a suspension that moves and isn't supposed to, is lost energy that can be put to the ground.

at your next local swap meet, look for a set of skinnies for the front. some 15x3.5 rims with pep boys tires on them can be a cheap way to pick up a couple tenths. also look for anything you don't need in the car and ditch it.
