Ice the intake?

Ice the intake?

Hey guys, sorry to ask here, but when you say ice the intake, what exactily do you mean?

Literaly drop ice on your runners and plenum or something, and let it cool stuff down for a micro-second? or are you talking about somethign else?

just wondering. Hey, im here ot learn!

Yah, you take a bag of ice and lay it on your plenum. Make sure its bagged ice, because you dont want it melting all over your engine. I usually wait about 15-20 mins to let the engine cool on its own first, then put the ice on. Otherwise the hot engine just melts the ice too quickly.

some of the guys here in jersey have been using a thing called a Pro-Cooler. it's got that cold pack gel stuff in it, only it stays cold a lot longer. the thing that looks nice about it is that you buy it once and it won't drip anything onto the ground.
