1995 Mustang GT VS 1987 LB9 GTA
This from my old school has a mustang gt 1995.I want to race him but i don't know if i'll win.I have a high flow cat 3inch walker pipe to a dynomax super turbo muffler,kn filter modified airbox and an ads super chip"not installed yet" and of course a 305 tpi 5spd.He has a 1995 gt with a body kit"extra weight hahah" and i assume exhaust.don't know if 5 spd or aod.Assuming it is a 5 spd who would win.

You'll take him.... barely. That stang is probably a high 14 second car, yours is probably about that, maybe a little faster. I raced a 95 Mustang GT 5 speed from a 40MPH roll late one night on the highway.... from 40-90 we were door to door. At 90, he began walking me, until there were about 4 cars between he and I by 130. TPI's low end and midrange is the **** on the street, but once you hit highway speeds... it's all too often 'game over'.

I myself had this confrontation. If you do it from a stoplight, you'll walk all over him in the low end. I'm guessing the 'stang i raced was an auto, cuz mine is an auto too and I took his @$$ to school! yours being a stick (you lucky dog), I wouldnt doubt you winning.

Depends on the extent of his mods. The two cars sound very evenly matched. Probably will come down to driver, so don't spin on the launch...
