This can't be right!

My freind calls me tonight and tells me his bone stock Z-71 P/U ran in the 12's on a quarter mile track.Does that sound right?Am I just feeling slow or what?

I'm not a truck guy,but a Z71 is a Chevy pickup with a vortec V8 right?The only truck thats even in the 14's is the Ford Lightning(13's)Tell him he needs to step away from the crack pipe

pinellas park huh i dont live too far from there. theres no 1/4 mile near by the local track(brain fart i cant remember the name of it)is only 1/8 mile moroso bradenton gainesville are the only 1/4 miles i know of in fla lakeland has an 1/8 mile also(im only about 30 min from there)12's in 1/8 is more realistic

Well,He ran at Atco in new jersey which is a 1/4 mile track.Here in florida ,Well near me we have a 1/8 mile (sunshine speedway).It just didn't sound to right to me considering I ran a in the high 9's with a beat tranny!(in the 1/8)

After reading the first post the first thing I could think of was 12's in the 1/8 also. That would make it about an 18 second 1/4 mile.

i have seen one run an 18 in the 1/4 if that backs up stephen at all.
