Chasis flex and understeer??

I am thinking about doing a little autoXing and am wondering how to get the flex out of the frame where the steering box mounts. I recently had the seem welded and the bracket welded to the frame as well. There is still flex on the left front frame rail. When I turn it moves. Is there a product to help this??
Also my car seems to want to understeer in hard turns. I have never slid out, but I have not pushed it that hard. What do you guys recommend to fix these things??

There is a whole tech article on this. It mentions many products and solutions to firm up your chassis. Enjoy the reading!
