How to Lauch an auto trans?

Howdy,

I;m loking for some input on lauching a 91 Z28, 350 motor with auto trans. This is for autox/pro solo and not drag racing. Do you hold the brake and take the revs up of just mash the throttle from idle. Thanks for any help.

1. pull up the e-brake
2. put foot on brake and depress
3. put foor on accelerator and depress.

that should keep the rear from spinning.

4. simitaniously release e-brake and foot brake.
5. fly

that's how I do it with my maro.

yea, thatll work for a v6, if you try that with a 350 you will be sitting there for 10 seconds in a cloud of smoke.
