Went to E-town today. First time in 12 years.

I took my younger brother and a cousin to Raceway park. Didn't plan to run my car but they talked me into it.
Ran 3 times.
First run was 15.3. I missed a shift.
The two following runs netted 14.97 and 14.95.
I must admit, it wasn't the car. I had 3 bad launches. Didn't wanna over spin and ended up bogging out. I'm sure I lost half a second at the tree.
It was a humbling experience. I really gotta practice my take-off. Professional driver I'm not and it's very different than street racing. I forgot how much.
All that a side, we had a great time. My brother loved it. I'm going back after I practice better launches on the street.
I can honestly say that when it comes to manual tranny, in a quarter, I suck as a driver.
Last time I was in E-town was back in 89 w/my late 69 Camaro(LT1-383,450+rwhp,410 gears and a manual valve body trans) I did 11.34 spinning through 1st w/street tires. It's a different ball game now.
Just wanted to share my experience w/the 3rdGen Tribe.
I'm definetely going back. No doubt!
