hoping 13's?

i am trying to build a mid to high 13 second camaro. right now i am in the process of putting a 330 horsepower, 380 ft lb of torque 350HO crate engine in my car. next goes in a built th350 from tci. finally, i plan on some 3.42 gears and a posi. do you think 13's are a reality for me? what do you think i will run with nice launches on 275's with good traction? thanks.

I put that engine in a 5 speed IROC with 3.45 rear. I put the XE268 cam, 1.6rr's, and had some head work done to the vortec's. I didn't manage to get to a track before selling it, but did pull a LS1 from a roll. So, I think that engine could put you in the 13's - depending on launch and suspension of course.

However good it runs at the track, keep in mind that it will never run its potential on street tires. IMO going to a drag strip with a car with decent power on street tires is setting yourself up for disappointment. There's a lot of 13 second cars running 14's (sometimes even 15's) on street tires.
