what do you guys think? I think my mph is pretty freakin good for a 14 second car. The car is not running perfect either. It needs some computer work. Oh yeah, I don't have posi.

One more thing. I have an Accel Pro Ram MPFI system and computer awaiting me in my garage when I get the time to install it.

I was running 12.90's at 103 with my old 350 in my 82 Z28. I was pulling low 1.80 60' ft times. As a general rule, every tenth you can get in 60', will result in about 2.5 tenths in quarter. You have a quick car, but your 60' SUX!! My nearly stock 89 RS is running 14.90's @ almost 93 MPH and I'm 60'-ing in the low 2.teens, with a best of a 2.097 once. Get your car in the mid 1.9 60' times, and I believe you'll see 12.'s.

 

Well judging by your 60' times your spinning real bad. If you gat your 60' times under 2.10 then you would/should be around 13.5 to 13.6, at least.
Definitely you need a posi and some suspension mods such as adjustable torque arm, SFC and LCA's. Also, practice on your launches and try not to spin so much.
If you can't get a posi try buying some air bags for the rear springs, it may help and they are fairly cheap.
A real nice setup you have and TBI to boot!

Thanks guys! Actually, I've been practicing launches to where I'm not really getting any wheel spin, but the problem is I have to take it easy on the launch causing my bad 60ft times.

Suggestions for a good set of SFC's and LCA's? Thanks!

His SFC are better than most since the Mid-shaft they "install a "Y" off frame that connects the main frame shaft to the beefy front sub-frame at the transmission crossmember mounting area. This provides for the ultimate in chassis stiffening by utilizing a triangulated framing design."
So you have 3 points of connection on these SFC's. And as for LCA's, well Spohn seeems to have the best for the cheapest price too.
In addition he has his own form here and answers all questions and if you call with a problem he will work to rectify it. Now that is customer service!!
I like Steve's products and plan to get some after Xmas too.
