86 iroc times?

86 iroc times?

im looking into buying a 1986 iroc with a lg4 305 and a 5 speed.. the only mods are a holley double pummper carb and a accel distributor,cap,rotor,and wires. what do you guys think it will run in the quarter mile with good traction.

What gears would be in it. If 2:73 then I would say very low 16, possibly 15.9 . Anyone else think that DP is a bit much for a stock 305, what cfm is it.

i think it has the 3:23 gears in it. what would the quarter times be with edelbrock headers and a hooker aerochamber catback and proform 1.6 roller rocker arms

make sure you know what gears you have.
I have a 87iroc that used to have a 305 with a 5 speed and a 3.45 gear ratio

More like mid to high 16s. LG4s suck and are a little slower then L03s.

Unless it's got a great body and you can live with the slowness----pass on it

My son just got a bone stock 85 LG4 Camaro, with auto trans. Friday it ran 10.88 @ 64.xx in the 1/8, which translates to mid-upper 16's in the 1/4. The '86 IROC LG4 had an additional 10 hp.
