Playing with the GoPro at the track

A while ago I bought a GoPro camera and have been waiting for racing season to use it. I put it on my friends 69 Camaro which runs a 10.00 class and was playing with some different angles. Not a thirdgen but I think it still fits this subforum. Enjoy!

The interior shots were suction cupped on the rear window. The outside ones looking forward were actually stuck to the rear quarter just behind the tire and the last two angles were stuck on the hood. I used a thin piece of wire and tied it to the rear bumper in case it decided to let go. This was just a test playing around with some angles. I like the inside shots the best but GoPros don't do too well in darkness so I'm excited for some day races once it cools off enough.

Re: Playing with the GoPro at the track

i bought some velcro strips that i'd like to try- camera OUT of the plastic case....i think it opens up allot more possibilities for mounting it in odd places..i'd like to try it behind my headlight covers during a track day....i'll probably test it out before i go to the track.

Re: Playing with the GoPro at the track

Yeah the quality of the flip seems pretty good. It would be nice if they made it have a wide angle lens.
