what should i run

1986 IROC-Z, 5 speed, 350 L98 tpi swap, zz4 cam, t-top. 3.73 gears, boxed lca, adjustable PHB, belltech sways, eibach sportline hurst short throw. slp headers, to slp lm1, no cats, EGR delete, 18x8 255/35/18 front 18x9 275/35/18 rear BFG super comp II

i plan on making my first passes this week. im thinking in the mid to low 14s, this is the 1/4 mile.

tips, pointers, words of encouragement are appreciated!

Frist times to the track generally don't go as planned but don't be mad at the results its just a starting point to build on.

Your cars combo may get you into the 13 sec range. Watch those hard launches that T5 may not like it or hard shifts that you need to get good #. But if this is your first go at racing don't expect better than mid to high 15s , The more you do it the better your times should be. Just keep us posted and show your time slips from your outing.

those tires are going to fight you pretty hard. the combo will go 13's with traction. of course traction and a t5/10 bolt combo typically spells disaster one way or another.

Told ya. Get that sixty down in the 2.0 range and jump into the 13's easy.
