i just wantet to see what you guys thought i would run with my setup in the sig. ill race it in the spring, and by then ill have a r4 from pro-built or that raptor one with a 2200 stall.oh and it will be with my stock hood on with the cleaner sticking out for thhe ram air effect. thanks

it will definately go into the 13's if you get any kind of hook at all. i would suggest more than a 2200 stall convertor though. i used to have one on my car and i was very dissapointed with the results(only about 1.5tenths even with a shift kit) i would look more towrd something in the 2800-3000 range if you really wanna get something from it.
the other thing to watch out for is the air cleaner. the fuel flow on tbi is exposed and the air rushing through the air cleaner could blow the fuel away from the tb and cause the motor to lean out. you shoudl put a piece of duct tape or something to block the wind directly in front of the injectors to protect against this.

Low 14's at best. Did you have a time before that? If go out and prove me wrong.

here is the thing with torque convertors. there are a couple of ways to chose them and a lot of it is a matter of opinion.
for max performance at the drag strip you really want a convertor that will bring the car out on peak torque. this relies on the car hooking to get the most et out of it.
as far as drivign around town, a looser convertor will call for a little more revs to move away from a stop. but there is a cool factor on that, when you are cruising at low speeds you can give the gas a quick rap and it will not jerk the car forward, the convertor will jsut absorb it. this is a great way to get girls to look when you drive by

yeah i know what you mean, right now on my sh itty warn out 700r4 whenever i see hot girls i thow them a rev to get there attention, i do the same to the cops that hate me just to f with them, i want to be able the tap the gas and go, so i will probably go with a higher stall
