That motor plate looks like it's 1/2" thick. I made my own from 3/8" thick plate.

Yes it's the upgraded half inch plate, rated at 2000hp. Bought it off jesasaurusrex on here. He ended up not building an ls combo. Certainly a stout piece

when small blocks under 400 inches have more ***** than 600" big blocks, they need thick plates.
