Gosh, that is a short track. A thirdgen didn't win it all but they did show up on race day!
Hands down the worst driver there was the black Corvette.

Re: spectator drags
1 lap around a banked oval is not really considered a drag race. They would be better off doing a 100 foot dash in a parking lot.

Ive watched a few of these on youtube, there has been some clean and strong running 3rdgens that have won or gotten to semi finals several times. its pretty entertaining to watch sometimes since its oval racing for anyone willing to enter their car.i dont think its much of a 1st place prize..more for the fun of running your car on a "circuit" though some people take the spectator drags very personally..seen some fights because of guys getting a lil rub here and there on their shiny sports cars.I would enter if it was near me just for some laughs.

What the heck did I just try to watch (I watched a few minutes hoping it would get better/start making sense and then just fast forwarded through the rest picking up the highlights).
What makes this a "spectator drags?"
What the heck are the rules for this? It literally looks like the winner is whoever is the car on the inside unless the one on the outside is A LOT faster and more willing to wrec their car. It doesn't seem to have much to do with skill or how fast the car is.
