Well UMI autocross in the books. Overall I was very happy with the car. Car ran good and had more to give but I need a driver mod. Lol. I’m very happy as I was faster most runs than the one before and lowered my time 10 seconds from first run Friday to end of Saturday. And I never hit a cone!! I was certainly not the fastest car but I was not the slowest either. I did run this event in a buddy's car last year for one day but this was my first event in my own car. There were lots of 3rd gens there and they all looked great!
awesome!!!! I only got a chance to chat with you really quick at the very end of the day after the event was over, but it was cool to see you and the many other third gen cars out there. I wish we could have coordinated a way to get a large group photo of the 3rd gens. I was the guy with the Red IROC with #15 on the door. I hungout and chatted with Matt Birnie, and Valarie and Tom a bit during the weekend. Glad to see you out there on the course. You really didnt hit a single cone over hte course of two days?!?! way to go. I sure collected a fair share of cone penalties! I'll be tying up a detailed account of my weekend in the UMI event post I made last week, so keep an eye out for that.
Most importantly, it sounds like you had a fun time, the car did well, and that is most important!

Nope no cones! I always have a blast at this event. I'm lucky and only live 20 miles from the track. That would have been awesome to get a group pic of all the third gens. Maybe next year. I know the car had more to give but I need more seat time. For this being the first outing for the car I was very happy and couldn't have asked for more from it! I did get some pics of some of the 3rd gens but unfortunately not yours. I look forward to you post.
