Everything the car needed to run 13's plus a loop. There's nothing special about dipping into the 12's. All the extra safety stuff is required when you hit 11's.
Driveshaft loop, Helmet, stock seatbelts are still fine.

You're going to need a proper Snell rated helmet. Minimum now required is Snell 90. Snell 80 and 85 are no longer accepted. You can still find Snell 95 helmets but the new ones are Snell2000.
An open face motorcycle helmet is all that's required. Go to a motorcycle shop and ask for a Snell rated open face helmet. M95 or M2000 will be the rating. You don't need an SA rated helmet. The M2000 helmet shouldn't cost more that $100.
www.snell.org will tell you everything you need to know about helmet ratings.
If the dirt bike helmet has the proper Snell rating (which I doubt it has) then you could use it. A K98 rating is also accepted. These are karting helmets.
All other ratings, DOT, CSA, ANSI etc are not accepted. It MUST have a Snell rating.

JR, this is non-topic related, but I just wanted to know how you like your PR chip? I have a custom custom chip from them also and I was wondering how you like it.
