Question about mounting ET Streets?
Ive got 15x8 raly rally rims. 26x10.5 et streets. I will use the tubes as recommended by M.T. Talk to me about the location of the valve stem. On the rim it is towards the outside. On the tube it is in the center of the tube. M.T. website says to drill new hole in rim more towards the center of the rim. Is this neccessary? Or can the installer generally "work" the tube and valve stem over to the side location? How far does the valve stem stick out of a rim with a tube type tire? If I have to drill a new hole closer to the center, I can only go over about an inch . Am I making any sense here? The new hole location would put the valve stem close to the center mounting part of the rim. Any thoughts, or experience out there?

I have 15x8 rims with 26x10.5-15 ET street tires with MT tubes. I didn't drill a new hole for the valve stem. I did have to drill out the hole a little bigger to get the valve stem to fit though. If I were you I would try using the same hole, I've never heard of anyone having to move the hole closer to the center. Good luck

Thanks for the reply. I got them mounted, no problem. Like you said , the only neccessary change was to enlarge the existing valve stem hole to 5/8 inch. I was mis informed about the location of the valve stem on the tube. Its a learning process!
