going to the track

in a few weeks me and my friends are goigng to the race track and we are going to do the quater what should i expect my times to be and

i got another question?

will a stock 89 irock (auto) beet my 89 trans am GTA my brother said it would and i dont think so the only reason i would ask this is because i dont know anyone with a stock irock

If you both have the same engine and trans he should win by little bit. The iroc intake is a little less restrictive than the pontiac setup, and your car should be slightly heavier. I wouldn't say he'll win, because you never know with 13 year old cars.

If the engine/transmission combos are the same then it will be who ever has the best launch. And I don't know about the Camaro being faster b/c of the air intake...maybe b/c it is lighter, if anything, but it won't be enough to notice.

The Camaros intake and lighter weight is what is gonna make the difference here if both can drive and have the same combination in the same condition and stuff.
