Need advice on improving 1/8mi times
I took my 91 formula with 5.7L WS6, auto, to the 1/8 mile track near where I live in Texas and got these times
1st reaction - .5906 60'- 2.191 1/8 et - 9.55 73.70mph
2nd reaction - .693 60' - 2.187 1/8 et - 9.407 74.50mph
3rd reaction - ..3874 60' - 2.196 1/8 et - 9.454 74.12mph
The start feels great and I think the 60' times are ok, but I bog down near the 1/8 mile finish when it shifts into 3rd. Would this be better or worse in the 1/4?
The car is completely stock except for an airfoil and open filter element. What can I do to improve overall et?
