Hey Gang, I'd like to introduce my husband Mark to the Crew....be easy on him, gang. He's my hot-rodding honey and together we have a mutual interest in anything Chevy. He's been an unoffical member of the Crew for a while, so now he's official!
We share the same MSN account so you may see both of us in the users above our forum. He's not a troll, I promise. I'd kick his butt if he even tries anything stupid like that!

Just wanted to say hello Cascsde Crew, I've been to a couple gatherings and met a couple of you already. Steph has been here for a while and tells me about the stuff here. I have lurked here and like what I see.
She was the person who introduced me to the ownership of the legendary muscle car Camaro, her IROC Z28.
And now I have my own, a project car for now. It's coming along, slowly, it has lots of potential.
I have a strong interest in building hot rods and have participated in building other peoples toys, now it's time for my own. We have another toy sitting in the shop, my beloved Lucille, a '65 Chev long/wide bed, big back window cab, originally resto'd in '81, due for her 2nd on-going right now.
She's got a 400 sb, 9.5:1 TRW pistons, Crower Beast Cam, 1st edtion performer intake, 780 QJet 454 application for a 70 Chevelle, 68 cc chambers on cylinder heads, 202 intake 194 exhaust, Headman Streetrod headers, 2.5" exhaust, Dynomax mufflers, TH350 w/Hughs 2200 RPM converter, Hughs clutches, Transgo 350-2 competion shift kit, twisting the crap out of 4:11 gears. She does a good job smoking my 285 BFG's!
Also the Misses has noted for a 4600# truck, it does a real good job chopping up 3rd gens. Nothing like a little clean FUN!!!!

Count on it man! Hey, if the rest of you Camaro PDX locals come tonight, CRCC is participating in The All Camaro Show at Super Chevrolet off of I-205 at 87th and Stark Street. Some really fine rides and always ends in the traditional burnoff after the show!
Starts @ 6pm if you're interested. Come show your colors!

CRCC does other fun things too, Gibby. We do a Fall Colors run in the fall. Last years was a cruise around Mt. St, Helens, lots of twisty stuff. We had a ball, chasing each other around the forestry roads, dodging the elk hunters in campers and trailers! I was white knuckeled, hanging onto my preggo tummy!Originally posted by Gibby85

Last Saturday we cruised up the Gorge for a salmon BBQ. Again, fun times. You can go to my sig link and look under events.
We do stuff in Vancouver too, maybe when your in town at your moms you can come cruise with us! We'd love to have another 3rd gen with us!

So the **C* in CRCC stands for Camaro right?
I am assuming that your fine feathered friends are not welcome.
Am I wrong?

Schultzy, you are always welcome. You'd be the only Bird there, but what the hey, we're not particular!
In fact tonight our show had both Pontiacs and Camaros, some very fine looking/sounding rides and some killer looking monster engines! Traditional burnoff got cut sort when the local PD busted it up. One got ticketed pronto.
In all actuality, we are seriously contemplating having both Pontics and Camaros together in a NW club!
I'll keep ya guys posted when it happens, we'd have a kick A$$ club!

Wish I could have made it tonight, but it was 9:30 before I got back into town from Seattle. Made it up there with 15 minutes to spare before the place closed at 4
An accident southbound involving a white 64 Impala really slowed up the trip home.

Sorry I took so long to reply I got hungup on a carb rebuild on a friends 60 T-Bird. What all have I done? Every thing from stock rebuilds to full-tilt go-fast. most of this is for friends and cash side jobs. Some of the stuff I have done is porting cylinder heads, port matching manifolds to cylinder heads blending bowls on intake & ext ports as well as unshrouding valve seats. Oh yeah too many engine swaps to count.........but i love this gear head hobby. I got started with my dad at the age of 5 and its been alot of fun!Originally posted by rx7speed
