Yup. Think I'm going to be getting most the parts I need for Hugger off of Pauls car. If anyone knew how to weld on a new front clip, it would be a very fixable car to buy complete. Very nice car.

Question for you or your hubby: The steering box on his car doesn't have the "Z" cast onto the housing, yet he has the wonderbar and 16" wheels, and his car is a genuine IROC. Since it is an '85 like yours, I was wondering if you knew if it should absolutely have the "Z", didn't necessarily have it, of if maybe its been changed out with a non-IROC box. His tires haven't been rubbing his sway bars, and I'd think if it was a standard box they would (my car certainly does). Do you know what codes I should be looking for or whatever?

Where at in Vancouver is he? I'm going over into Vancouver the next 3 days, sisters are in town, I wouldn't mind going to go take a look at it.

What are you taking off just for Hugger? Paul has a list over @ CC in for sale stuff. Mark would like to get the whole lower console piece if you're not using it.

I'll let Mark answer your question about the steering box. Is it just a base IROC or IROC-Z?

Lance... look for 6B225 on the steering box... I believe thats what would tell you if it were quick ratio or not... atleast thats what I think the #'s are anyway

I don't think all of them have the "Z" cast into it, most places I've seen carry them as an "XH" box...
