cost of engine install

Transmission: Auto, Auto, 4sp
cost of engine install

I just called a place to see about getting my engine installed in my 87 iroc & I about gaged when they Quoted me a price its between 3-5k to just get the engine installed.
OUCHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn... that is a lot! My guess is if you asked about an engine swap it would of been a lot less.

lol Well CHP is a very good shop & they knwo what they are doing. of course at $84 an hour they are pricey as well.

Yes, but it doesn't take long to pull an engine and put a new one in. The problem is that since the engine is already pulled it will take twice as long to install the new one due to all the unknowns.

thats what it is, currently there is not an engine in the engine compartment of my 87 plus the engine that is to go in the the iroc is just a long block,
