So it's tax return season and I will be getting mine back pretty soon like next weekend pretty excited. I have been looking at 2 different cars both Camaro's one is a third gen 91 RS Auto t tops very clean looking inside and out the other is a fourth gen 97 Z28 polo green t tops very nice.
The RS they want $1,500 obo which I think is a steal by the shape it is in. And the Z28 is $2,400, but it has 189k on it.

I already have a 83 Z28 and a 85 Z28 the 83 is all stock 305 5 speed the 85 has a 350 with fresh rebuilt T5 in it talking like 0 miles, but the 350 is bad needs rebuilt which would cost me about 1200.
I could get the 350 rebuilt put it back in my not so nice 85 or I could buy this RS put my rebuilt T5 and soon to be maybe freshly rebuilt 355 in it. Or I could just sell my 85 as it is and buy the 97 Z28.

My vote in this situation would have to be for the 4th gen..........

I don't like the 4th gens much, they just don't look right to me.
Now, is either better then investing in what you already have? plus it would be sad to let go a freshly rebuilt T5.

 

I am going to buy the 4th Gen not my color of choice, but for the price I have to jump on it.
As for the T5 it will not go to waist I will end up pulling the bad 350 and putting a good 305 back into it that i have sitting around waiting to get used.
I really love the third gens they are so awesome looking, but also would love to own a fourth gen since I don't have one yet.
