help with swap

Hi guys, is there anyone in the snohomish/skagit/watcolm(sp) Island counties that would be willing to help me swap my puky 2.8 and slushy tranny? Planning on a 350 or 383 and TH350 or 400. I live in Mt Vernon.

Re: help with swap

Honestly, sell the V6 car, buy a V8 car. The swap makes no sense.

I agree.

On the other hand, visit the V6 forums and you can build some pretty decent N/A cars or go turbo for even more fun.

Yes, but V6 cars have worse suspensions and normally less options then the V8 cars. Also, there are a lot of trashed V6 cars out there, too. Instead of driving them hard they neglect them because "it's just a V-6"

lukes was the cleanest v6 to v8 swap ive seen to be honest, but he also went top to bottom on it with suspension and all that IIRC

OP: Pickin up a v8 would be your best bet, one in good shape, i know theres a guy parting a 91 out in key peninsula like 400 for the whole car or something, id offer him 3 for the shell and see where it goes from there, or take the whole thing, its a tbi with a t5 i think
