Hey guys, there's an autocross on July 1st at Boundary Bay. It's held by the UBCSCC and last time we got 6 runs each.

Tech and Registration: 8:00-9:00 am
Drivers Meeting: 9:00-9:15
First car out: 9:30

Last time I had the only F-body and I wanna see more!

I think it's $25 and there are helmets that you can use. Just remember to put it back after your run so the next person can use it.

 

Damn. There was some kind of accident at Boundary Bay so the auto-x is cancelled or postponed. I was looking forward to seeing your car.

BTW there is another Formula out there that looks *exactly* like mine, but a woman drives it.

 

Hopefully there will another auto-x soon. I'm not sure if the other clubs cancelled their events too.

That building looks familiar. hehe. I walk past there all the time.

Hey wait a minute! You could take pictures of my car then I could put mine in the reader's rides! The only other 3rd-gen Formula I've actually seen is a brownish-purple '87 in the junker's.

 

Hehe, my friend took that with his digital camera, he lives right there in Fairview. I saw a red Formula yesterday parked on old North Road (Coquitlam/Burnaby border). Seems like whenever you get a new car you start seeing the same ones driving around.

Did you get any more info on what happened out at Boundary Bay? Was anybody hurt?

 

Someone rolled their Corvette because the brakes failed at the end of the run. It hit a fence slid up it and rolled. I think the car was totalled but the driver was only scratched and bruised. Man, the only auto-x I didn't go to and something interesting happens. It seems that only the UBC auto-x is cancelled then everything is back to normal because the Boundary Bay officals are investigating. The UBC club always gets screwed by stuff like this.

Hopefully another UBC auto-x because the club payed a deposit already.

Hehe, my Formula is quite distinguishable from all the rest. I think mine is the only one with an unpainted front bumper and a badly painted trans-am louvered hood. I'm starting to like it kind of.

 

why did you put a trans am hood on a formula ?I think the formulas are wicked for the formulas.What wreckers did you see the formula?is there any parts that can be salvaged

I have the original Formula hood but it is folded up so badly from when the car was totalled by the first owner. The next owner got tha Trans Am hood from the junkyard.

The junkyard Formula is in Ralph's on Mitchell Island under Knight St. bridge. It had a perfect Formula hood but it's gone now. I still can't decide which hood I like better. Maybe I'll graft the scoop onto the Trans Am one.
