Got my first issue of GM Hight Tech Performance in the mail today, and earlier this week I got Issue #1 of High Performance Pontiac!! YAY!!

I saw a sub 9 second thirdgen last night at the track. Looked like an old pro-stock car, had a SBC with nitrous. I was less than 40 feet from the bleachbox when he did the burnout. His best run of 3 was 8.97, I didn't catch the MPH though.

This one is all motor and besides centerlines and a small cowl hood looks stock. Only "bad" part is - its running 13.8:1 compression and has to use 112 octane race gas.
