Blue502... Question for ya

J/w where you got the engine for your maro. Was it a custom rebuild or a crate? Then again, I'm sure if I checked your webpage, it would tell me. I will check it, but post this anyway, incase it doesn't say.

I got it from a guy who took it out of his '34 Ford street rod. 440 horsepower wasn't enough, so he was going with the 502 or 602 horse version (not sure which) with aluminum heads, and sold me his old 502. I has been rebuilt once, but hasn't been bored over. It has about 10K on the rebuild. I paid $2,000 for it. And in case you didn't know, they are GM crate engines. Lots of power, but totally stock, and therefore quite reliable, which is exactly what I was looking for.
