IIRC, the input shaft splines are different so you will have to use the V-6 clutch disk.

you don't wanna do that

Bolt patterns are different, and I think the actual input shaft is different as well, but I'm not 100% sure on that...

not really a good idea to do

The length of the input shaft is different, so the transmissions will not interchange.

Your best bet if you are going to get a T-5 is an 88-92 World Class from a V-8 car, preferably from a Z28, cause they have a better 5th gear ratio. The World Class is the strongest version of the T-5 and the Sybchros are the most durable and effective. These gearboxes can be a bit tuff to come by, but they are worth the effort.

A properly built World Class T-5 can comfortably handle 400 HP and 400 Lb-Ft torque, if it is not abused.

Not a store. (Yet, hehe) Just me and my travelling road show, sort of. I run things from my house, but I usually have multiple projects on the go at various places around town including my place.

As far as TPI stuff goes I have a selection of parts, and many sources for the stuff I do not have. Let me know what you need and I can help you out.
