Just go to the 'my icq' button/menu deal. Choose view/change my details and under main just change your nick name.

I dumped ICQ a while ago, too many security holes

ICQ (I Seek You) is one of the first online Instant Message programs that allowed you to communicate in real time with your friends. AOL and MSN where quick to copy this format with there own versions. You can transfer files and launch peer to peer aplications too. ICQ is rather complex for the average user and if it's not set up right will reveal your IP address to others.

You mean better for you sanity and your computers lasting integrity (::feels like doing severe damage to the computer sometimes::

) AIM = much better reliability. ICQ = nice history feature.
