And the next item on the list should be seats. At least get some seat covers, the drivers seat hurts my eyes.

I know, I want to get the seat recoverd but lack the funds right now. I'll probably have to look into some seat covers soon...

Where can you buy a shift boot at? Does GM have them? I'm almost ready to put the T5 in. Got the master/salve in and the TH350 out about 5 minutes ago. Damn that's a heavy biotch. Just gotta get a clutch setup (tomorrow) and put the column back in slap the tranny and crap in and cut a hole in the floor. (almost forgot the hole) Hopefully this weekend I'll have it done. Then it's tires and wheels time then paint.

I would try a wrecker. GM probably has them but they are probably not the cheapest from the General.

I'm going to guess you did not put a piece of plywood on a floor jack and ease the tranny down.
