Burnaby, although I don't have the Gen3 I want yet, and I'm sure you guys don't want me showing up in my clapped-out 1/2T
embarrassing us all!
I have smoked some 5.0L Stangs though, but no Gen3's have come my way yet.
I am looking for a Vert for this Drivetrain.
Stuck driving my Wife's '69 RS SS in the summer for now. Poor me.

Re: Whos from B.C. here?
If you guys have been looking there's going to be a meet in Tacoma, We could organize a canadian meet around the same time? anyone know a good place or a garage to meet at,
Possibly a Manning Park Drive,
either that or get a group and Camaro Convoy down to Tacoma! or hey I got a better idea how about BOTH!
My car is currently down but will be back up before May!

Re: Whos from B.C. here?
The meet is Tacoma is a camaro only meet, so sorry T/A owners, all other ones will be open to both 3rd gens. it's June 19th, check the camaro only meet in these boards.
Check out the April 25th meet in Surrey,
If you guys are up for cruise this summer that would be cool. All contingent my car rolling smoothly which shouldn't be a problem

Re: Whos from B.C. here?
I drove through Tacoma last year on the way down to the Oregon Coast, nice area but it is a bit too far for me to travel. If a meet was setup around Spokane Washington or Sandpoint Idaho I'd be more inclined to attend.

Re: Whos from B.C. here?
Alright so we'll day June then, not sure of the date specifically. I will leave this post up for 2 10 days and then will set a date and place given the information. I will try to pick a good drive, somewhere central
Post below
city you are located,
whether sat or sunday works best
if there is any week you know of yet that you can't attend
Surrey, BC
Sat probably but both work,
can do any weekend

Re: Whos from B.C. here?
I'm more inclined to say Sunday, but could probably wing a Saturday if need be. Late June would work best for me as I'm getting married in may, and finances would be tight after that.

We'll just do it in may then and you make the camaro meet part of you honeymoon!
so A bunch of you are on the island is it to much to come to the mainland? If so maybe we can do a drive on the Mainland and on the island. It would be awesome to have a group of 3rd gens on the ferry, and I would love to make the drive to tofino at some point

lol. But I'd probably be more inclined for a Island trip than an okanagan. But either works for me. The Island is just closer and easier for me. Tofino I think would be awesome.

Re: Whos from B.C. here?
right now it seems a good drive would be Hope BC or manning park Though we may all have to fill our tanks at somepoint on the trip, or Merrit, but I don't want to have to pay the toll

Of course, I hadn't taken the coq in forever, I think crowsnest is a nicer drive than the coq and the manning park to princeton road is central enough it seems

Re: Whos from B.C. here?
Well guys. The plan, last stated and I was looking into was June 19th for a ride either to merrit or manning park. Unfortunately my Camaro is pretty much toast for now.
I was on my way to hope to and was going to drop a 350 in it....but tranny went on the way there and possibly rear diff damage and no money for a new tranny and diff, so I'm done for a while. If you guys know of a Camaro with an blown engine, and even body in rough shape let me know...I have most peices can swap the two cars together. I can only spend about 1500

Re: Whos from B.C. here?
Are we still planning on getting together this weekend?
My z28 is toast as the transmission is not more, so if I come out I can't bring my 3rd gen.

What about next month's Vancouver Island run? Anyone up for that?
I'm closer to that, so I could probably make that work if anyone was up for it.
Say Campbell River/Courtenay to Victoria? and then back down?
